Circuito de Cartagena, in Murcia, is one of Spain's most technical tracks and one of the few where the climate allows riding almost year-round, including the winter months when other circuits close for the season.

A layout that rewards smoothness

At 3.506 km with 18 corners — 5 left, 13 right — Cartagena is a circuit where raw power matters less than line precision. The 610 m main straight is the only real top-speed zone; the rest of the layout demands flow, good brake management and clean lines through linked corners.

Mediterranean climate: riding when other tracks are closed

Its location in Murcia gives it mild weather all year round, making it a regular destination for winter track days and for riders who don't want to stop between seasons. Many teams also use it for pre-season testing for the same reason.

Recommended level

Its technical nature makes it demanding for beginners, but highly educational: learning to go fast at Cartagena without relying on horsepower directly improves your technique at any other track.
